Warmth Against the Wind: Protecting Dreams from the Cold

When -10°C is a Good Day
It is hard to describe the cold of the Himalayas to someone who hasn't felt it. It bites. It seeps into your bones. For us, it’s an adventure. For the children here, it is a daily challenge.
A healthy body is the foundation upon which great dreams are built. It is impossible to focus on math or reading when you are shivering. This is why the Warmth of Wellness pillar of our mission is so critical.

A Layer of Love
Today was distribution day for winter gear. Thanks to the "Circle of Blessings," we distributed thermal jackets, gloves, and boots to over [Number] children.
There was a moment that brought tears to our eyes. A little boy, cheeks red from the wind, put on his new coat. He looked up at us, surprised, and said, "It feels like a hug."

These aren't just clothes. They are armor against the elements. They ensure that these children can walk to school safely and sit in class comfortably.
When you wear our jewelry, remember this: Your choice provided warmth to a child on the roof of the world. You are wrapping them in love, thousands of miles away.
